I’m going to assume the stipulation was that FTR had to win the actual titles and that obviously wouldn’t happen in a DQ scenario.

Doesn't AEW have a rule that titles can be won on a DQ. I thought the whole rule about the champion retaining if he gets DQ'd was just a WWE rule.

AEW in Wembley is crazy. Does this mean there's no All Out this year?

That was a fantastic, seriously good, show. The only weak point was FTR winning the belts. I was hoping they would write in an out for the "leave AEW angle" outside of them winning. The Guns losing the belt that soon wasn't good

And don't get me wrong, I'm stoked that FTR aren't leaving.... they are the best tag team in the biz. I just wish there was more than a two week build up to them being Champs again

That’s stupid. DQ shouldn’t count. Especially since they never do DQ’s. At least they had the ref have the sense to not fall for it, mostly.

I don’t see how they do Wembley without Punk. Have to think they get Mercedes for a one-off with Hayter too. Doesn’t Edge’s contract end right before that too? I wouldn’t be surprised if FTR vs. Edge/Christian happens there.

It’s kind of smart to piggyback off of Clash at the Castle from last year. They got wrestling fans from all over the UK to travel to Cardiff on a long weekend. Considering it’s AEW’s first time there and in a far more accessible city, I can easily see 60k at the very least.

I think you’re gonna get just the regular BCC/Elite match, and then the blood and guts match on tv. Both sides need a 5th man although I’m sure they’ll make it work with 4
