I warch dynamite on dvr to skip through commercials and PiP(honestly, if they could get more money from full screen ads, they should) so I always have 20-30 minutes of the next show. Go big was OK. I really like Rat In The Kitchen, probably watch that when it's on Hulu. But I let TBS run and they eventually went to Young Sheldon block. What a pile of shit that show is. I know most people either love or hate, with very little in between, Big Bang Theory (I love it).... but this show is shit on a stick. Sorry, off topic.

On topic.... pretty good show tonight. Love Kingston + s/o. Hart v Shida was surprisingly OK. Incoming Hart switch to Black's stable? As I said before, FTR v Bucks was awesome. Lot of bucks haters out there, but I love them. I like FTR slightly more though, so that was a great outcome. Samoa Joe match was fun. What the f*** happened with Jay White? When will Miro come back? Same for Omega. Khan has got a problem with too much talent and really only 2 hours of air time (I, like most viewers probably, am not watching an hour of mid card wrestling on Friday night).

They never had a plan for Jay White, Tony made an error one day taking about that show where Keith Lee debuted and mentioned the forbidden door, so he made a deal with New Japan to get Jay White for the show

Seems like that's probably an accurate assumption, what a disappointment.

Deeb has like -3% body fat, she ain't drinking! Lol, but for real... that's awesome.
DYK she got sacked by WWE because someone took a pic of her drinking while she was part of the Straight Edge Society and Vince lost his shit over this break of character? (Yes, Vince is a goddamed lunatic)

Really wish the Hardys would take it easy. Especially Matt, dude can barely walk and Jeff is well on his way. Tough watching these needless bumps from them

Meltzer predictably loved the main event-rightfully so- and then he goes on to list the best tag matches of the last handful of years and it’s all YB match. I am actually starting to like the young bucks- I think they’ve been great lately- but cmonnnnnnnn Dave. There are other tag teams. I don’t think he can be viewed as objective when it comes to them. Can’t have an A+ tag match without them apparently.

The Bucks often turn into spot monkeys, and i get why people sour on them. Last night was far from it. I do think a lot of it is the FTR influence. Those guys just know how to call and pace a match. Building the hot tag for what felt like 10 minutes. Everything was working last night

Then Yuta and Mox said hold my beer

Yeah they shouldn't be killing themselves in tv matches against jobber teams
The Hardy’s came out during commercial, Matt gave a quick thank you promo and said they were wrestling tonight on the anniversary of their fathers death. I’d say they had a pretty damn good night.

Fun show, mild disappointment no Jericho or Punk, plus others only in backstage skits. Some the backstage audio was inaudible to the house.

I’m getting too old for red eye flights, if I hadn’t been fighting sleep deprivation I probably would have stayed in the area to see who was around.

Leyla Hirsch suffered a knee injury in the opening match for Dark and that match was called off. Hopefully not too serious, she needed help out of the ring but looked like she was able to walk/limp on her own by the time they got near backstage.

I would say I missed a good 50 percent or more of every promo. They were fighting with the audio all night. It wasn't very good in the first two shows but last night was awful. It was frustrating at times because it felt like they had more backstage/promo segments than usual

I assumed we would get Punk for the Rampage taping but at least they delivered 10x over with Yuta v Mox.

That's sound reasoning until you sit down and think about what almost all the best tag matches are in the last 10 years or so are. I can think of about 3 or 4 that are 'among the best' that don't involve them, but that's it.

They’ve had tons of great matches and have won me over, I’d just like a shred of objectivity. Like just name one (1) match not involving them. IMO DIY vs FTR was the best tag team match of the last decade

I have the DIY/FTR matches and the Undisputed Era vs. Moustache Mountain match they did on NXT (Dave gave it 5 stars). There was an Undisputed vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch on a takeover as well. I didn't see FTR vs. Briscoes but the reaction it's gotten I'm confident that's one. Other than that I can't really think of any I'd consider among the best without involving the Young Bucks.

I would just suggest you listen to the WOR recap where Dave talks about what guys who have worked with The Bucks think about their ability of putting together a match. After their first meeting years back Matt Hardy went out of his way to contact Dave raving about how great they were.

Briscoes/FTR was better than either FTR /Bucks match. Watch it if you havent.

DIY vs FTR and Page/ Omega vs Bucks are other (recent) favorites that come to mind

Maybe it's because I just watched Mania or I'm used to watching WWE in the Garden, but AEW felt very minor league last night. The production was also abysmal. Instead of dropping tens on millions on a bingo hall's tape library, spend some on a proper production team.

It was cool to see Christian, but I just couldn't take the guy he wrestled seriously. He looked like my ten year old nephew.

I asked this before, but I think it got lost in the migration. Has Big Dave changed his formula for rating matches? I just find it hard to believe that AEW's last PPV had 3 matches that were on par with Taker/Michaels at Mania 25.

"I don't watch any wrestling"

LOL What? You would prefer the show to be 50% video packages and a camera cut every half second? I get the entrances and pageantry WWE does better but WWE has it's own issues. You're also comparing Wrestelmania to Wednesday night Dynamite.
