Huge blow if he's out. Our RD depth sucks and he was our #3 so far and playing tremendous hockey.
He’s a solid dman. Hopefully he’ll be back healthy next year.
He’s been physicaly abused this series oufff. Need to smarten up or he will have short career
He made me an even bigger fan of his with his play this series.
A shame he just didn't see Wilson coming. At his size, he needs to see players coming to properly receive a hit.
Agreed. If he got a concussion, he shouldn't be playing.Fine d-man that should be rested now. He will play a key role next year. No need to sacrifice his health like that.
Diagnosing a concussion requires input from the player. Players lie to trainers and doctors to stay in the lineup. Ask Gallagher. He’s not concussed if he’s flying. It seems clear he will be in the lineup tomorrow.
The whiplash and the way his head hit the ice I would be disappointed if he plays and that the trainers would endorse it.He’s not concussed if he’s flying. It seems clear he will be in the lineup tomorrow.
Carrier is a dog. Unfortunately (in this instance) he doesn't shy away from physical play despite his stature. Mad respect to him for saving the seasonNot going to be surprised if he's playing tomorrow, unlike some of you oat milk drinking mfers...![]()
Absolutely! It’s ridiculous that that these predatory blindside hits are still allowed. In the OHL anything close to a headshot and it’s almost an automatic game and often a suspension. I thought the Canadian hockey league was supposed to mirror itself after the NHL.Smartening up against Charging? No such thing, this is a NHL zone of interpretation that needs to be corrected, Wilson gave multiple hits in this series where his 2 feets where not on the ice after skating towards his target to increase the impact. As long as the NHL wont enforce this Wilson will take out whoever he wants.
Well, whatever… Wilson can go kick rocks…
They were targeting him for sure. Habs record with him is telling.
No you're not but Carrier is leaning in to make a play in a very dangerous spot it is what it is.Am I the only one who thought that was a head shot?
Ovi’s hits are usually clean except I feel like they’re all borderline charging. He’ll skate from halfway across the rink and practically leave his feet most of the time if I’m not mistaken. It is very telling that both Ovechkin and Wilson targeted Carrier. He was obviously affecting the Caps ability to create anything on his side of the ice. He helped to turn our season around in a big way. He isn't flashy, isn't attention seeking but gets the job done in a very quiet yet effective manner.
He is Hughes' best trade acquisition and it isn't even close.
Not going to be surprised if he's playing tomorrow, unlike some of you oat milk drinking mfers...![]()
