I'm surprised he said he (probably) wasn't going to re-sign after next year. I feel like he can still go for 1000 or at least from a money perspective, make more here than in the KHL due to the ruble's decline.

That's insane, and quite obviously, no one else has ever even come close. He's made up ground on all the best goal scorers of all time, in his mid/late 30s, when they all stopped scoring.
