Spent my lunch break compiling data to use in that Lemieux-Ovechkin thread just to realize it got locked.
Here's the data anyways. Someone made a claim that Ovechkin played against worse goaltenders. Data shows that Ovechkin actually played and scored against significantly better goaltenders.
Legend:
Blue = goalie won a Vezina during the players career
Green = At least 3x top-10 Vezina finishes
Yellow = never finished top-10
Only included Vezina and top-10 finishes from during the time the player played. Did not include Lemieux's 98/99/00 years, or 02 (only scored 6 goals).
