Much ado about nothing. This is his Russian agent making a stink to Russian media. The guy isn't even in communication with Carolina. Nikishin is not going anywhere.
He's the best drafted prospect outside of the NHL IMO.I mean that’s just a lot for another prospect tho
He's not. Tulsky confirmed, they want him to play in the AHL...
I'm confused also. And that contract is 2 years, so he can't even negotiate anything more at the moment?
Puckpedia didn't have NMC for Arvidsson and Henrique until Freidman tweeted before the deadline
Just FYI puckpedia and other sites are not run by the NHL, they're based on media reports. There have been multiple cases where they had no idea a player had a NTC/NMC.
My point is work visa wise and personal insurance, one would assume that a contract would be signed before he stepped on a plane????Just FYI puckpedia and other sites are not run by the NHL, they're based on media reports. There have been multiple cases where they had no idea a player had a NTC/NMC.
Well then its good that the agent quoted isn't allowed to talk to the Canes, he's a KHL agent. If the agent’s tweets are accurate, then as described above, this seems like a poor way to begin a relationship with a prospect.
sorry to say the added 1st would not be on Carolina’s side my manPIT gives: Rickard Rakell
CAR gives: Alexander Nikishin, 2026 1st (the lower of the CAR/DAL 1sts.) If the DAL 1st should defer to 2027, PIT would get the lower 1st in 2027.
