Rumor: Alexander Nikishin contract dispute?

He is signed, what are they talking about?

This isn't even his American reps mentioning this. This same "agent" wasn't blowing hot air about this almost 10 days ago on a russian news outlet. If Q comes out and says this, i'll be worried.

Just FYI puckpedia and other sites are not run by the NHL, they're based on media reports. There have been multiple cases where they had no idea a player had a NTC/NMC.
My point is work visa wise and personal insurance, one would assume that a contract would be signed before he stepped on a plane????

If Carolina never signs him and gets eliminated and Nikishin goes to the AHL does that mean he potentially wouldn't get credit for this year and the contract would roll over?

I can't imagine a scenario where Carolina is down / close to elimination where they wouldn't want to sign him and get him into the lineup, they just look much much better than NJ at the moment so they don't need to put him in.
