Confirmed with Link: Alex Tuch to Washington for a 3rd Round Pick (signed 8 years x $10.5M)

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Knew he was gone. and 10.5m is too much, especially on 8 years. 6 years? Sure, I woulda done it. The length is the issue.

The 3rd is nice. So much for playing for your home town team that is on a major upswing. Ah well!

Time to fire up a Robertson/Thomas big push

Good for Alex. Appreciate all he gave the Sabres. Glad he is getting paid. I don't mind the Caps so okay rooting for him still. Glad we didn't sign him to that contract. He's a very different guy than Leino or Skinner but that contract would have been an albatross in a few years....

schools in NVA are very good, I used to like the museums, that's all I got.
Udvar-Hazy is pretty cool. The practice rinks in Ballston. Good eats, breweries abound. Going out with the hochesh pitz contingent to wherever they go now (formerly Russia House) could get you in trouble.

Happy for Alex. He's been underpaid his entire career. Hope he kills it for the Caps, just not against us.

Happier that someone else is picking up the tab and that Jarmo salvaged a 3rd.

Do we re-sign Kampf? Or did the Caps just need to get rid off a contract? Seems weird.
