Rumor: Alex Tuch Sign-and-Trade

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Oleksiak is UFA so no.

Speaking of PTSD, bad memories of the Oleksiak draft year because people thought he would be a partner for Myers because... tall. lllTall. That was it, just because they were tall.

You joke, but my pet theory is there's a force multiplier effect when multiple REALLY BIG GUYS(TM) are on ice at the same time.

Kraken fan here who roots for the Sabres as my East team. Can you please convince Tuch to re-sign in Buffalo before our idiot GM does something stupid and signs him in Seattle.

Congrats on the Byram trade btw .. pretty damn amazing value.

As someone who was enjoying the Kraken until Botterill got involved, you may have already come to the realization that he is not good at his job.

Which is probably a mid-round draft pick based on other sign-and-trade moves. Something around a 4th rounder.
I don’t know. There was a lot of talk about Raddysh ending up in TO even during the season. I don’t think they were bidding with many other teams for his rights. IF, Tuch has indicated that he’s willing to do a sign and trade with a multitude of teams, we may see a little bidding war :dunno:

Ha. Believe it or not he has been better than Francis. Small sample size and it's really not saying much after the job Francis did.

The ownership is being idiotic and has tied Botterill's hands in a way because they are delusional and think we are actually a good team close to making the playoffs every year. But I think they are learning the hard way right now because no one wants to waive to come to Seattle and the UFA market sucks outside of Tuch. So with him gone, atleast we hope that Botterill can save the team from himself.

Tuch would immediately be the best forward on your roster if Seattle signs him. He’s an amazing 2 way player and a great leader on + off the ice. You guys have a bunch of cap space. Tuch will probably be a really good player for at least the first 5 years of the deal. If I were you I would be very excited if you sign Tuch.

JMO anyway

I agree with all you are saying. Each and every part, other than the signing. But that's not about Tuch and more about the Kraken.

He does nothing to move the needle enough on our roster. We are still not a playoff team with him. He would be only legit 1st line player we have ever had on the Kraken but that is not how you build a roster.
