Yup. Impatience is the name of the game these days among a large chunk of fans.

Might be revisionist on my part, but I swear that's it's far worse now than it was a decade ago... Posters have far more unrealistic expectations about how quickly a player will hit their potential, anchoring their perception to the rare outliers rather the the vast majority. Sign of the times I suppose
