Confirmed with Link: Alex Iafallo 3x3.66M

Perreault was an angry frenchman who was often injured yes. Played a very chaotic game which often led to injury but was versatile until the end.
I mean I remember he looked alot like Tanev with much better offense. I don't know if that's actually a stylistic comparison other than my thinking of his long hair.

Ehlers really is the big question mark. If he makes it to July 1st then I think we will need to shift gears entirely and possibly look to a youth movement to fill in the gaps. We have a lot of bottom 6ers like Gus, Barron, JAD, Kupari, Iafallo can slot in there, Nieds as well. Namestnikov like Alex and Nieds can kind of go anywhere in the lineup.

Once we know whats going on with Ehlers everything should fall into place.

Barlow and Yager could use a year of A at the very least but Chibrikov and Lambert should be given a fair shake at the roster. If we have to many guys signed they might not get that fair shake.
Ehlers really is a big question mark. If he can't play many games in the playoffs are the Jets at the point where they want to rely on a guy who is great in regular season, but, not there when you need him?

Yeah, I feel more then 2.5 years in the AHL and young players start to stagnate and their values decline in the Market.

I'd want one on the team foresure.

Did he get that free fishing license that somebody on here has the ability to pull for him as part of the deal?

I liked him, but we always bumped him up to the top six when we had injuries. He wasn't suited to that and I think the extra ice time hurt his play and resulted in increased injuries.

Great signing ... I thought for sure he was gone because he could get more money on the open market and would be too expensive for the Jets to sign.
He was not kidding when he said he want to stay. You can see it in players interviews how close and how special this team is. A "fun team" very tight group ... great job Chevy.

I don't even remember Perrault very well. Wasn't he faster and better offensively worse defensively and as you mentioned often hurt? I honestly am struggling to remember any of our old players who have retired other than Buff.
He was also viewed as a Swiss army knife type player, you could plug him into whatever role was needed and he'd be good at it. Also played with some sand but it caused him to get injured a lot. More offensively gifted than Iafflo

There was a consensus that iafallo at 4m was a cap dump... now 2 years later it sure just seems like fair market value

So many swiss army knives on this team... love it

Must like winnipeg if hes giving up 3 more years of surfing haha
He can go surfer all summer. Hunting in the fall, ice fishing in the summer then head back to California for a few months

Well locked up another utility guy for decent cap hit

Lots of cap space now to fill the rest of the spots... I think ehlers signs around 7 - 8 mil range.. vilardi 6 - 8 million.. Samberg 3 - 5 million.. pionk can walk and replace with salmonson
