Alex Galchenyuk Thread 7.0 - "Turns Rust To Gold?" Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

I would love if they can sign Ryan Clowe(Ufa) this summer to start next year with

Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Clowe
Patches-DD-Cole
Bourque-Eller-Gionta
Prust-White-Moen

If we don't get Clowe? Gionta on 1st line and Armstrong on 3rd? I was excited about Leblanc, but I'm starting to believe that he's a third liner in the NHL at best and he will probably stay in the AHL even if there is a season this year.

But Ryane Clowe is LW

What a wrister! Unfortunately I woke up late this morning and only caught the 3rd period where he got close to no ice time. Definately need to wake up for tomorrow's game!

Tonight's gameplan: go to bed around midnight, wake up at 4AM for the Canada game, go back to sleep from 6:30ish to 9 and then watch USA-Russia.

rofl my bad

No problem McSorleyStick, enjoy the game :)

Next game is tomorrow morning at 9ham again Russia, be sure to be awake, it should be an epic game (Gally vs Yakupov). I hope you are not working tomorrow morning...

Any on-line streams for the game?

Jones reminds me of Komisarek at times.

Ya, Yakupov is a beast, and he's not wrong.
I also don't think having a reputation as a dirty player is necessarily a bad thing.

When a Hab prospect does it, he is confident and a future leader. When anyone else does it.. he's cocky, arrogant and a headcase...lol

We have been looking for a real number 1 center for 20 years. Now that we finally have drafted one, i hope we wont convert him as a winger. Trade Plekanec.

Keep him in the junior this year.

Next year, move DD to the wing until you find someone willing to pay the best price for Plek or Eller.

Depends how he does during training camp and during the 10 game tryout(or less depending on the comeback to work agreement).

I would trade Pleks for TT+ 1rst in Chicago... A 1-2 punch of gally and TT would be awesome.

fyi, the Canada game is at 4:30am, so you get an extra half-hour of sleep and lose one in between both games.

No. Keep him in the junior this year. No sense sending him in the firestorm that will be the rushed season.

To the contrary it would be to his advantage cause he played all season contrary to a lot of NHLers, which can only make him look better.
