WOW I am so happy the habs picked A.Galchenyuk instead of N. Yaktoomuch. After Nail calling all the Canadian players dirty players. WOW, that's what he really thinks he is going to be another Radulov head problem case.
Too bad for Edmonton but glad the Habs dogged that bullet.

I hope you are joking. I'm rooting for team Canada, but they are indeed chippy, and Jenner is really pissing me off after yet another suspension. What's the matter with a player from another country stirring the pot? I love it.

The comment wasn't too inaccurate to be honest..

I hear what you are saying but I do think Yakupov will be a headache for the Oilers. He has an enormous ego and will likely be a distraction at times.

I agree. Its just something to build up the tension of the game. Its not meant to be true or untrue, just something to stir the pot. I like players that say stuff like that, makes the games more fun to watch and more interesting to track beforehand. I really doubt it has any negative reflection on his character...

Yeah let's face it we're really big homers if we can't admit our team pushes it when you relate it to other teams in the tournament... Hamilton's penalty at the end of Swedish pre-tournament game was case and point, uneccessary slash to the foot to a player who wasn't even a threat and there's 5 or 6 other instances that we've seen that. There's a reason we rack up a lot of these penalties and most of them aren't for playing too physical, it's a lot of stick work.

Haven't been this excited to watch a USA game before, let alone one against Germany. Hoping he tears it up!

Agree. Especially with Hudon out of the tournament, if I had to choose between watching Canada or the US play, I don't think I'd choose Canada...

I like it when Gally is on they ICE , but 1:45 on PP is a little too long hehehe.

Also I would like to trade David Desharnais size for the number 2 defenseman of germany!

Ya, Yakupov is a beast, and he's not wrong.
I also don't think having a reputation as a dirty player is necessarily a bad thing.
