I love this team so much when they play like this...

That is what is so annoying. All of those games we lost and had leads. We never play this hard every shift and just pressure guys. As long as another guy covers and they play responsibly, you can play like this.

Have Oilers just been rope-a-doping the league in the 1st half of the season?

This offseason, the takeaway was that we managed to keep that great group together. We kept Kane somehow, and even both JP and Yamamoto and McLeod when it looked like the cap made that impossible. But imo adjusting to losing Keith and even Russell was a bigger loss than it looked. Also Campbell and even Skinner had to find their games (much moreso on Campbell of course)

edit: and of course we did lose Kane after our strong start to the season.
