ECHL is more fun for those who want to see minor league action, the AHL is too controlled to let people outside of their areas where teams are get into it because it's all development and success is coincidental.

AHL has been going downhill for the past 25 years. Quality is barely above ECHL/college/major junior and looks to be below the DEL/SEL/KHL. So many players do not have the time to develop either. Raise the veteran limit up to 8.
