Yep. Neat to see Lady Elaine reveal. (I had to rewatch video to hear what Harold said after reading note.)
In general, a smaller "medieval modern" arena than T Mobile (but less than 1/3rd capacity, ~5k). I enjoyed finding the "House of Henderson" heraldic logo/coat of arms that shows up around the concourse and on one of the Zambonis.
Unannounced change: No longer can you bring in 12x12x6 clear bag. Limited to same size as NHL/TMobile - 9x7x2 inches clutch. (I really wanted to bring my opera-glass sized binoculars but had to leave those at home. Also the extra hat in case of hat trick.)
(Really upset with "new" seat. They changed the side of the bowl and end of rink on me. I will be changing next season. TWO STH pairs I was with in old section are near me, but not others. Have one entitled STH I am now near.)
Every seat has a cup holder! Seats are adequate, but not a big thick padded seat like the Orleans.
Excluding Craggy Range, limited food options I found in walking around. Nachos or mac/cheese or pulled pork sandwiches seemed to be the extent. Lots of bars, however. Found a few bathrooms, but didn't check any out.
Parking - prepay (per game) and it's $10+$0.75 fee. $12 at lot. Gold lot is immediately adjacent to arena, but seems to be for VIPs, suite holders only (entrance/exit on GVP). I parked in the Silver lot (it was a lot bigger than the map showed. Entrance to Silver/Gold off GVP. For exit, forced to turn right/east on Paseo Verde Parkway. Enter Red or Black off of PVP. Temporary signage direct you to lots after getting off I215 on GVP. They had crossing guards to stop traffic at all pedestrian crossings between arena and parking lots. (From Silver, I had two streets to cross.)
Didn't check out the Livery or really look at the merchandise tables closely.
So if I have my ordinal directions straight....
Main entrance is on east side (behind sections 19 and 20). The other/west end (near Craggy Ridge) is the "Tiltyard" entrance (where they had the "Silver Carpet"). South side (lower section #s) is where the cameras are located. The media seems to be situated in the south east corner at suite level.
Similar to TMobile, there are metal detectors folks have to walk through (with keys/phone/wallet/clutch being passed to worker). (They didn't have any little baskets like TMobile, yet. I'm thinking those are on order.)
The west bowl end is the HSK side (bench, defend twice). (It's also the side that is emblazened with red "Knight Hawks" sign.) Above the seats in the end zone (same level as suites), is where the castle is. It's where our two hosts did some of their takes, where Lady Elaine was revealed, and where the Jesters hung out. (I didn't see them do any special actions, like juggling that was one of the skills they were looking for.)
The east end has the Silver Knights emblazened, with two promontories (like the TMobile lounges) way up.
Cell phone service (in the arena) is dismal. Neither good enough 4G or 5G to connect to audio streaming service. Decent (Cox) unsecured wifi available.
Jesters and Lucky were at the west entrance when I came in. Distributed a special "inaugural game" commemorative ticket and game poster (like at VGK games).
They did do a "horse race" game during one media break. Went pretty well.
tl; dr: OK arena. Lots of newness. Hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out.
