I don't think the speed will be a problem for him. He needs to round out his game & add some bite.

Difficult to say because the KHL salaries are not publicly available. Guessing he can get around ₽30-40 million (basic salary) + bonuses, so let us say $400,000 as basic salary + 50% bonuses, so $200,000. Of course, the taxes play a role. I am sure his basic salary will not reach ₽50 million.
