Was it another concussion?

If so, it’s very unlikely we see him until the fall.
Even if it’s not, deactivate him for the rest of the season, and let the kid have the time to put on some muscle.

He has to just be decimated by this.

Saddest part is he may have to sit out for the rest of his career. Always been a fan of Turcs. At this point just hope he remembers is name in ten years.

Have you seen anything about why he missed the last game? Without hopefully being completely wrong about this, I think his most recent injury was his leg?

Perhaps similar to Fiala, it didn't feel right after trying to come back. Still not good, but better than if it were concussion related.

Yeah not even sure what the issue is. It may be the leg injury. It really is a shame he's just built like a twig.

You can't add muscle if you are constantly rehabbing injuries.

Also harder if you are on a hockey focused schedule (games + practices) which he has been on now since he was 19.

Another reason he’d have been better off staying in school, the NCAA has fewer games and limits the amount of time you can be practicing, which allows for more time in the weight room.

Still, even with the injuries I was a little surprised with how small he still looks, especially since he had been lifting at the USA facility last summer, maybe he just has a tough time adding mass?

I didn't play pro, but I did play college. If you are taking classes seriously then a lot of the extra time is going to school work to stay eligible. Lifting during season was just to try to reduce weight loss. I didn't know anyone that added weight during the season. Then the comparison is basically between summers which seems like a wash depending on when classes start/end for the particular school.

My problem, like Turcotte, was I was always sick or injured. I had to drop a couple of classes one semester just to make grades after missing a week or so of classes during the first round of tests due to an emergency surgery. I never added much weight until I had graduated because I was constantly trying to get back what I lost while sick or in a cast.

Turcotte never discussed classes in interviews so I didn't get the feeling he was at Wisconsin for school. I got vibes of the Ohio St QB that said he didn't come to play school. This is why I don't think staying at Wisconsin was really in his future. If his injury luck continued if he stayed, I think he would be in the same physical shape as he is now.
