Holmberg also has a set of balls and isn’t afraid of contact! He was playoff MVP in the SHL.
They COULD be different, but they still have to prove it to everyone first. Leafs fans have been burned too many times to just believe in their team blindly these days.

Listening to Marchand talk about the Leafs system being different and seeming kinda stumped by it compared to previous years is amazing seeing as a certain poster on here will go to their grave that we aren't playing any differently!

What a fun game tonight, so impressed with the discipline Berube has them playing with. Think the defence has been real good. Almost had a panic attack when I saw Tanev hunched over.

Along the same lines I've never seen the Jays lose in person, they should just give me season tickets (I still wouldn't go though).
Leafs need at least the split in Florida and we're golden.

Happy as all get out, but I'd really like to see Matthews pick up some steam. He can't let Lundell's line outchance/work his line. Woll, there ya go buddie, well done. Defense is a blessing. Rielly doing playoff Rielly stuff. JT is working his ass off. That goal by Willy was top class. Well done Patches. I constantly see Laughton's line start in the D zone and end up in the O zone, thumbs up.
Florida has to pissed and concerned. Pissed because they're down 2. Concerned because they've given up 9 goals. Bobrovsky isn't having his best series, I hope it continues.
Cautiously said, kudos to Tre for sizing us up. Kudos to Berube for his calmness and willingness to roll lines more equally. Everybody is engaged, everybody is buying in.
(I liked seeing Murray on the bench, I hope not needed, but it does give me some confidence, he's a warrior and won't take shit if he's thrust into battle.)

I won't lie when the first weak goal went in I was dismayed, I thought it was going to be one of those nights...
This is the best team we've had in forever.
Tanev is so money, Pacciorety is low key amazing. Even Holmberg was battling hard tonight.
That's it, now I'm going to bed. Sleeping happy tonight.

I doubt he will be coming around much other than to argue about what marner's contract will be. And he will likely be right. The Leafs are going to pay Marner a lot. God bless.

This team is showing some tremendous heart...woot! And Marner scores the gwg for baby Marner! Miracles happen when you shoot the puck, lol...
I'd say it's because we don't have a guy back there you can point to and say "Yeah, he has no business being in a playoff lineup".
Florida actually has a few, which is why they ride Ekblad and Jones into the ground.
