How Florida got 4pp's vs 2 (one being too many men) is a joke. You're telling me that entire game the refs only saw 1 infraction during the game. Glad we win. Fully expected it, we don't lose game 6's. But the refs need to get their heads out of their ass. Who's the ref pair for tomorrow?

yeah it was not a superstar sniper shot along the ice to catch the goalie off guard. He just got his stick jammed last second. I think he earned a lucky goal though, for all the other stuff he does.

This is a great example to remember. Everyone was great because we won? I also see a lot of posts about Matthews stepping up etc etc
The difference, was 1 shot. That Bob likely wants back. Casual fans are so result focused that they really don’t know or don’t understand how to judge the players.
If we lost that game, not a single fan would have said Matthews was great. People don’t understand the margins that affect wins. Right now. Razor thin.

Benoit led all defenceman in minutes last night. All the shit he took from the Dubists and Lil crowd, dude has been unreal this playoffs. Deserves some love.
agree in general, felt the same last year about Nylander's series against Boston, but I thought Matthews played good last night. Could be wrong

Well you're doing a pretty awful job.
Win or loss (even with the entire series lost) nobody would be going on about how Matthews allegedly played bad. Everyone saw pretty clearly how good he was.
I hope they do but like most of us on here I think none of have faith that they will. They certainly never make it easy being a TML fan!

Great win for the Leafs, I unfortunately had to work nights (11pm to 7am), usually the game is over by 10pm, which is when I need to leave to catch my bus, but last night's started too late and I missed the 3rd period. Why did they start at 8pm instead of the usual 7pm? This screwed my night, but I loved that they won and I saw some of the game because some of my patients were watching the game. I hope that Sunday's game starts at 7pm so I can see the whole game.

That guy has been an amazing pickup for cheap. All the extras he brings are huge. And on top of that, his general craziness is just plain fun to watch. Guy actually fought Olivier for no real reason lol. Surprised he hasn't gotten more love on here the last few years.
That's a bit better, I think that I'll take an Uber on Sunday and leave after the game. I wish they'd start at 4pm, which is about an hour after I get up.
My prediction is Nylander has a great game on Sunday.

The biggest surprise about Benoit is how good of a skater he is for a "defensive defenceman".
He can really skate, especially when moving up the ice.
