They did a good job today collapsing and blocking a ton of shots and protecting Woll Tonight. Even though it was not pretty to watch and they looked like they were hanging on for dear life with all these soft puck clearings and icing calls.

I’m still amazed people judge players by their off ice interviews 🤣
These guys have stared into cameras and microphones since they were 15 years old. Nothing any of them say has any bearing on how they play in the heat of the moment during a game.

Pressure firmly on the Cats. We weren't expected to be here. We certainly aren't expected to win Sunday.
I'd say pressure is on both teams. Panthers are the favorites and defending Stanley Cup champs so you expect them to win. Leafs have the pressure of not losing yet another game 7 and especially not to lose it badly. It would hurt if they lost a close one, but if they blown up like they did in game 5, well the fans aren't going to be very forgiving at all.

The game almost felt like if Florida scored first it was an auto win, and if Toronto scored first that was their only path to victory.
They need to play Game 7 the way they played Games 1, 2 and 6; lock it down, prevent the Panthers from getting too many good looks, and wait. Again, Bob gives up a lot of rebounds and the Panthers struggle with quick strikes off the rush. They start to cheat when their standard scoring chances don't go in, leaving them open to the rush counterattack.

Yep. They came back down 3-1 vs Boston in 2024. We've been here before but the job's not done.
They came back down 3-1 against boston in 2013 and 2018 too, only to lose in game 7 on the road in Boston, just like in 2024.

Just pretend to be humble.

Also, game 7 vs Boston was supposed to be a win, too, right? Just let the game happen.
Humble? Humility is for losers. It's for respect in the handshake line. It's everything that was wrong with the previous iteration of this management and coaching staff.

Arrogance wins. It always has. In every aspect of life. Society likes to pretend it doesn't, but there are no humble winners.
