Age of Mythology: Retold Trailer

Love this game so far, but I have to say-the Egyptians really seem to suck. Atleast from what Im playing in the campaign. I usually dont have many issues getting through the chapters on moderate, but chapter 12 is rough. My troops just can't seem to stack up against my opponents. Those scorpion looking things are a huge PITA.

My memory is hazy (despite playing it only 6 months ago), but I remember that, in general, you need to counter myth units with other myth units or heroes that are good at fighting myth units. In general, I tried to make sure that each of my forces had a few heroes or myth units to deal with any enemy myth units that they encountered. Ah, I just looked up the Scorpion Man on a wiki and it says that they deal bonus damage to myth units but are weak to heroes, so definitely try cranking out heroes instead of myth units to deal with them.

Priests are a unit you need to be using a decent amount of because they do bonus damage against Myth units like the Scorpion Man and they can also heal your units to help keep your troops alive.

Egyptian Barracks units are on the weaker but cheaper side and really need God techs to make them good. Migdol Stronghold units are their strongest regular units but they are more expensive and pop heavy.
