good overrated list.... dont agree that Sakic or Leetch were underrated.

Id say Dionne is underrated. Drafted/traded on bad teams. Wouldve been a top 10 player alltime if he was a Hab.

Palffy also fits that bill. Played his best years on the crappy Isles and Kings, and still had 329G 713P in 684GP almost ALL in the DPE. But him in the 80s/early 90s or today and hes probably a HOFer.

I agree with Price.... had a very solid career, but below guys like Lundqvist or Luongo. Closer to a Rinne.

didnt play nearly as good for as long, and thats a big factor, imo. Longevity is part of greatness. Theres a reason why we dont see many goalies last more than 5-10 years anymore.

Well Quick was dominant during his peak. You're right, his peak didn't last a long time, but he was just great as Lundqvist, Rinne, Bob, Luongo, and the like. His SV% looks mediocre, but that's only because the great defensive teams he played on DEFLATED his SV%.

I'm not sure, I always hear people compare him to Roy when he wasn't on that level imo. Likewise with Quick people seem to regard Luongo and Lundquist higher.

great defensive systems inflate your SV%..... Almost every goalie that played under Lemaire, Hitchcock, Trotz.

Mats Sundin was the most overrated player of my lifetime. I always knew that when we were playing against the Leafs, he wouldn’t come through when it mattered. And he never did.
