They reposted a tweet claiming it was intentional from a racist meme troll twitter account called "end wokeness".
That's super gross

A lot of former players have said it looks intentional... plus there is video of this guy doing basically the same thing in an OHL game just his leg doesn't get that high. It's fair to ask if the guy was reckless. That's super gross

That's fair. I'm unfamiliar with that account. Then express that opinion without giving cred to a racist account

Ruff was a marketing hire. Granato took the bullet for Adams and Lindy was was the new poster on the billboard. Not having him bring in his own people convinced me of this. NJ is paying most of his salary. I believe from senior management’s perspective, i.e. Terry, things are going splendidly. Finally listened to the Rivet/Hamilton convo. I thought Rivet made more sense. It’s reasonable to trade out players from the core, but it is silly to not recognize this goes deeper than the current group, just as it went deeper with Eichel and Reinhart.
My biggest beef is with Hamilton’s licking of Ruff’s boots. I don’t think Ruff is to blame for this, but the team is not playing better under Ruff. Granato was dumped after producing better results with arguably less (and certainly not more). I actually think this was one of the benefits of bringing back Ruff, from an Adams/Pegula perspective. Ruff’s history with the local fanbase and media is serving as a bit of a shield.

Add to that a garbage coaching staff where they promoted Appert who seems to have no idea how to run a PP and left Wilford in charge of our defense where there are problems too. Ruff may not have been the absolute best candidate but I think he was one of the best and he is getting almost everything he can out of this team.I don't buy this for one second... Granato was a horrible coach and needed to go. Maybe Ruff was just a PR move but he is 100 times the coach than Granato and is not the issue now. Adams made the team worse by trading their only established true top 6 Center for another puck moving left handed D. The roster has so many flaws from our center spine to the make up of our top four D in style and handedness...and not to mention Adams goalie situation screw ups ..again.
The PP structure is fine, I actually like the wrinkles of trying to work around the goal line more. The biggest problem and it really has been for the last 14 seasons, they can't f***ing pass. The professional hockey players cannot pass or receive a clean pass. The PP goes one of two ways, the move the puck well and get good looks OR there is one bad pass/pass reception and it is total scramble mode to get the puck back or to the guy not being pressured, which they suck at because they put their backs to the play and blindly rim the puck to the next guy who is doing the same thing and then it's clearedAdd to that a garbage coaching staff where they promoted Appert who seems to have no idea how to run a PP and left Wilford in charge of our defense where there are problems too. For the first time ever I'm intentionally listening to this mornings podcast.
That's how much last night's game broke me.
This was a pretty good one.I usually listen when I’m in the middle of a long road trip and need to laugh.
This was a pretty good one.
-Petey was asked why he swears so much on the show, he told the kid to F off (he was kidding)
-They love Benson, but he is going to get killed playing like this without any other support
-They played a incredible game of hockey in the Avs building, blame coaching on the Avs loss:
-Why is Tage on the ice at the end of the game ?
-Why was Drouin wide open ? Tuch moved out of the box +1. Lindy is going to show this and say WTF are we doing here ?
-Talk up the Byram trade, and ask why should he take a penny less than Power ?
-Power lacks grittiness and is afraid of confrontation
-Sabres are playing games with attendance numbers, people cannot give them away per them
How do we allow a 2 on 1 to be created in front of our net in that situation?Looking at the replays of both of the 6 on 5 goals the Avs scored, it sure looked like they weren't playing a box +1. It looked like they played a 2-3 umbrella with the forwards focused on taking away the points and the dots.

There was no interest in taking away the slot in either situation.
Personally, I would have gone with the Patrice Bergeron setup and have the center in the mid-slot area with his stick on the ice in any passing lanes and with a head on a swivel.
But, what do I know...
It would be awesome to have a Bergeron type center ……….. Sorry I was dreaming for a second there.Looking at the replays of both of the 6 on 5 goals the Avs scored, it sure looked like they weren't playing a box +1. Playing awful defense with terrible situational awareness. How do we allow a 2 on 1 to be created in front of our net in that situation?
