I‘D say Mack or Kuch, honestly comes to preference, but the past 3 years Mackinnon has been closer to McDavid than Draisaitl in terms of PPG, which is honestly just crazy, considering how good Mcdavid has been.
This is including Draisaitl’s best offnsive single season output and this year as well. Kuch is pretty darn close as well.

And if you go back to 18/19 until today Drai and MacK have the same ppg while Drai has more points and goals.

IMO Mack and Kuch’s peak is higher. Speaking from an avs fan’s perspective, but Mackinnon’s reached his peak after he won the cup. So essentially the last 3 years. I’d say three year+ is a pretty good time period.
Also 2018-19 is the only threshold where the difference in PPG is less than 0.1. Not saying Draisaitl isn’t an option and things could change depending on how this year goes, but I definitely regard Mack and Kuch higher.

It’s asking for best peak, limited to this generation of players. Peak isn’t 7 years.

Right, which is why people are going to have different opinions. Peak isn’t career focused, it’s how good a player is at their best. Some people consider that one year or two years or three years, etc. MacKinnon has arguably the best single season between them, and has been a multiple Hart trophy finalist and a similar level to Draisaitl through their primes that suggests his best season isn’t some spike like Huberdeau’s 115 point year. I’d say that’s a perfectly reasonable argument for MacKinnon. I don’t see a lot of separation between MacKinnon, Kucherov and Draisaitl

Why is MacKinnon ahead of drasaitl,

MacKinnon 50+ goal seasons - 1
MacKinnon 100+ pt seasons - 2

Drasaitl 50 goal seasons - 3
Drasaitl 100 pt seasons - 5

Because there's more poster here that hate the Oilers than are objective towards the Oilers.

Draisaitl and Ovechkin are the only active players with 3 50 goal & 50 assist seasons, no other player has more than 1.

Draisaitl and Mackinnon are almost identical in their career PPG with MacKinnon at 1.15ppg and Leon slightly ahead at 1.19

Both players essentially broke out in their 5th season, that's the season both players went over a point per game, so if you remove both players first 4 seasons of under a point per game then the numbers are literally just as close with MacKinnon at 1.42 ppg and Leon, again slightly ahead at 1.43 ppg

Now playoff points per game is the only discernable difference with MacKinnon at 1.29 ppg and Leon comfortably ahead at 1.45 ppg.

There's too many unobjective posters on here that want everyone to believe that MacKinnon is somehow "clearly" the better player when their career numbers are so close as to be virtually identical, minus the very clear stats that say state Draisaitl is an obviously better playoff performer.

So, that being said if i had to choose between the two, I take the double threat, 50/50 playoff monster.

The only thing I will say about Mackinnon is you can see his totals and PPG go up linearly as Makar's assists totals creep from just under 40A in his rookie year to 65-70A.
