Tarasov looked good in the first so far. 12 saves. Monsters up 1-0.

Malatesta still out. Not sure whats up with him.

Good game so far.

Tarasov decent. One goal on 20 shots. 1-1 after 2. Really could use some offense. Need a few guys to get it going.

Monsters come back from 3-0 to get it to 4-4. Gambrell with 2 goals and an assist, TFW with a goal and assist, and Brindley with 2 assists. Ahcan with his first goal in 28 games after getting 7 in his first 9 games

Brindley 3-4-7 in his last 8 games after going pointless in 6.

Jet had an easier period, but has still faced 35 shots thru 2.

Butler scores in the 4th shootout round to win the game for the Monsters.

Greaves finishes with 40 saves, and stopped all shootout attempts.

Didn't think they would pull it off, but they fought and got the win.

Monsters had a chance to get back in first, but Laval won and Rochester got a point losing in a shootout. Laval has first with 49 points, Rochester has second with 48, and the tie breaker over Cleveland, who also has 48. Good race so far in the division.

Nice to see Brindley stepping up the scoring. How has he looked? Does it look like he's improved his play or just better luck? And do you think he'll need another year in the A?

Brindley looks good. He has good speed and is a decent puck handler. When he has to make a play on the goalie himself, that could use some work. His passing seems good. Defensively he looks good, his speed helps him be able to get back in plays that go the other way. Stays out of the box.

If Columbus wasn't playing so well, I could see him getting a call up. I don't think he is too far down the list. I think he may get another year in the AHL. Tools look like they are there, just need some refining.

Question; where are the Monsters games televised?
I have IPTV now, and would love to catch some of their games but can't seem to find them.
I watch them on Flohockey. They basically carry AHLTV. Locally they are being shown on Rock Entertainment channel, but I have Cox cable which doesn't carry it. They show home games only so it doesn't matter for me. I think you can find them on OnHockey also. Pretty sure they just stream the AHLTV feed.

Monsters have decided to not show up tonight. Down 4-1 with a couple minutes left in the 2nd. They really haven't been playing well for a bit, really struggling on defense.

Monsters pull out 3-1 win over Chicago. Grimaldi, McKown, and Pearson with the goals. Sawchenko with 28 saves.

Tied point wise for first, but Laval has tie breaker, and a couple games in hand.

Monsters up 2-0 early 2nd period. Sillinger and Gambrell with goals, Gambrell's being a shortie during a double minor. A gift goal as Syracuse goalie came way out of the net and fanned on a pass giving Gambrell an empty net. Greaves has faced 26 shots already.

Sillinger didn't come out for the 2nd as he took a pretty hard hit in the 1st. Hopefully not too bad.

Game tied at 2 with ten minutes left. Being outshot 40-11, and we are still looking for our first 3rd period shot. Going to have to pull this one out of their behinds.

Gavin Brindley scores late to tie the game at 3. Just their 3rd shot on goal in the 3rd. Game goes to OT, still have a chance to stay in 2nd if they can get the other point. With Rochester winning tonight, we can fall to third if we lose.

Outshot 46-13 in regulation.

Edit: lose in OT 4-3. Tough game seeing as though we were completely outplayed and were still able to get a point.
