DBB was a healthy scratch alongside Svozil, Sweezey, and Angle. Blankenburg, Dunne, and Matteau injured.
Do they carry an oddly high number of players or is that pretty normal?DBB was a healthy scratch alongside Svozil, Sweezey, and Angle. Blankenburg, Dunne, and Matteau injured.
Better in the 2nd? I see hes up to 3 shots and an assistJiricek on 3rd pair with Knazko. Been struggling lately and has a few turnovers already. Hasn't hurt yet, 0-0 after one.
He has a handful of turnovers. A few on the PP. He seems to just be going ghrough a tough stretch. He is still on PP1, though. He'll snap out of it.Better in the 2nd? I see hes up to 3 shots and an assist
Lol. Last game, after Toronto tied it late, he slashed a guy and anther guy grabbed Meyer and threw him down and got the penalty, just before OT.Meyer can be a little shit disturber
Yeah, they suck with the net empty. Was a good game for a bit.Jiricek is fantastic at beating the 1st attacker at the blue line but its probably obvious hes going to look shot being down and the next wave gets in the way. Wouldnt mind him looking for the open guy in that scenario
They should have just put that in their own net, its about the only way they could have made it easier

Yeah, defender attacking him at the line lol. Makes confident moves at the line but wasnt getting his shot through after beating that guy. I know he was probably pressing to get shots on net being down but he is also capable of making great passes finding the open man after making his initial move1st defender?
They pretty much are.Monsters beating up Chicago as if the Wolves were an ECHL team
Shouldn't have ticked off the Hurricanes. They pretty much are.
We’re hearing that defenseman Nick Blankenburg, who has been sidelined by a concussion twice this season and has played only one game at either the NHL or AHL level since Dec. 19, is close to a return with AHL Cleveland. Blankenburg was injured in Columbus on Dec. 19 and sent to Cleveland when he was medically cleared on Jan. 25. He played the next night against AHL Hartford before going back on the shelf. He resumed skating with the Monsters this week, but an exact return date has not been declared.
About a concerned as I am that TFW is the team leader +/- even though everyone here tries to tell me he sucks and has no NHL future. How concerning is it that Jiricek is a team worst -10 on a good Cleveland team?
To each their own.About a concerned as I am that TFW is the team leader +/- even though everyone here tries to tell me he sucks and has no NHL future.
I don’t get to see them much so who knows. He’s also 11th on the team in points in half the mount of games. To each their own.
Just odd that he’s played 19 games and is a team worse -10, on a 33-16 team. As a team they do give up a lot of goals, so maybe it’s just the style. Idk.
