Defenceless receiver penalties are almost always bad calls. They need to get rid of it entirely. The receiver should be forced to bail on the play if he doesn't want to take the hit. Its non sense that the defence can't touch a receiver after he's made the catch.

Edelman dropped his head and turned as Keo was coming in. Edelman's head went from being above where Keo hit to right where Keo was.

But he was diving forward and leading with his helmet. If he was more upright, there is no helmet to helmet which is what he got called for.

Exactly. Why isn't a runner defenceless in that sense? Their heads are basically mush after every single run.

Such a BS call. Edelman knew hit was coming. Free 15 yards. Hopefully Brady gives us another gift INT.
