what the **** is cherry talking about.

-Getting your stick up on a guy is better than ducking a hit
-Gallagher embellished and the ref called him out for it
-Cherry saved Pacioretty's life by telling Molson to make the boards more flexibile
-Hjalmarsson

Did I miss anything?

Great 1st period for the Habs with Boston coming in wanting to send a message.

Time for the Habs counterpunch.

On an aside, I think Pierre McGuire is in the Bruins locker room taking care of some things after his 1st period Bruins foreplay.

Good ol' Pierre.

I still think Murray is doing exactly what we need of him. Not going to be pretty, but he's wearing down their forwards, even their "tough guy".

Won't look good in advanced stats, won't always look good on the ice, but he plays his role correctly.

I feel like the Habs have a terrible time generating speed in this game. Bruins are learning, they really clugging the central zone. MT needs to fix that.

He had a easy pass back to Plekanec for a goal.

Not saying they should have scored on both of those but Bournival should have at least turned them into grade A scoring chances.

Somebody should tell him that when he is open he does not have to shoot. It is the second or third pass that kills. You only need to watch Boston play to know that.

If his role is to suck, yeah, he does.

While we might think this will be a one goal game, I think it's gonna be a one goal game if we win. If the bruins score early in the third I fear a anti climatic blowout in the bell centre. The remaining two periods are gonna be huge for this series.

They do, but by the same token, Boston is also limitating their offense by being real conservative.

If the Habs score first, they'll have to go off their game plan and might just collapse.

Bruins decided it was gonna be a game of opportunism. They think they have more chance playing a 50-50% chance of winning type of game. They fear the habs.

If his role is to suck, yeah, he does.

His role is to establish a physical presence on the ice.

This looks like a 1-2 penalties game, max. Would you feel more confident with Bouillon in there? I won't judge.

But I feel like Murray helps keeping a few Bruins a bit calmer and that can't hurt in that type of game.

We just have to match him up a bit more smartly (and we should be able to do this at home)
