I’ll take a guess saying that playing with Stutzle especially for any length of time will help his goal totals.

It almost seems like people want him to fail for whatever reason or reasons. You’d think Senators fans would be happy that he’s scoring goals. And, somehow people are worried that he’s going to get paid too much. It's an assumption, but not so sure that would happen.
100%. I meant to imply that too. If he sticks up there, his shooting percentage will level out, but will have many more opportunities and ice time, with much better players.

I agree with the 2nd point too. It's hard to break pre-conceived notions sometimes. I remember fighting that battle hard when Hoffman came in and the majority thought he was never going to be anything for various reasons. There are outliers that break through sometimes.

If we are going that route again of Ottawa Forward for Columbus D,
then how about Gaudette for Jiricek? :sarcasm:
I am curious if they would go after him. Not sure who/what we would provide back, and I am not sure if Jiricek is looking like a bust, but adding a young RD would be great.

I was wondering the same thing and here's a breakdown of his goals:

@VGK Gaudette from Reinhardt and JBD
@VGK Gaudette from Giroux and Stutzle (PPG)
STL Gaudette from Cousins (6-0 goal)
STL Gaudette unassisted (8-1 goal)
@NYR Gaudette from Tkachuk and Chabot
SEA Gaudette from Cousins and MacEwen
PHI Gaudette from Chabot and Greig (PPG)
VGK Gaudette from Giroux and Greig (PPG)
CGY Gaudette from Greig and Giroux
@SJS Gaudette from Stutzle and Tkachuk
@SJS Gaudette from Stutzle and Tkachuk

His minutes have been in line with a 4th liner but I don't see much evidence that he worked his way up from scoring with Cousins and MacEwen. His assists come from Giroux, Greig, Tkachuk, Stutzle x 3 each, Chabot, Cousins x 2 each, Reinhardt, JBD, MacEwen x 1 each. 7 of his 11 goals don't have any bottom 6 players on the scoring sheet. Even that STL goal from Cousins is fairly meaningless, except to build his confidence, considering it's already a 5-0 game at that point.

Hopefully he can keep it up to make up for the abysmal production from Pinto, Amadio and Perron but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm crossing my fingers!

Robbing another GM in a heavily lopsided trade in our favour seems to be a constant theme in your posts. It's very odd and its like a trade where both teams get something they want of equal or near equal value is somehow very rare.
I'm really impressed that you did a thematic analysis of every post I've made. Good on you for doing that, especially to include the ones with a 'lol' at the end, very impressive!

Gaudette is scoring. But man stutzle needs a better winger. I would like to see crookshank up. Sure not great. But don’t know until he gets an extended look. I thought he was great last year. Play him with talent for a solid stretch of games.

Crookshank doesn't really move the needle, at least not in the right direction.

I might flip Pinto and Greig, try and spark Pinto by playing him with Stu,

Man they’re really trying to get Grieg to work

Well we don’t know if he does or doesn’t. Likely doesn’t. But it’s something to try

I think there’s likely a reason why we never see Norris and pinto wing. Not all centers can play there

Giroux is not that bad

I want to see G Stu Pinto, Greig to 3C
I posted before I saw the new lines obviously giroux is a fine winger for stutzle.

I don’t know why the lines are in a blender.

Tkatchuk Norris Greig
Batherson stutzle giroux were all going alright.

At least it looked that way.

Again pinto and Norris simply do not move over the wing. There must be a reason

Tkachuk Norris Bath were together last game, as were Cousins, Pinto and Amadio

We just swapped Greig and Gaudette, hardly a blender.

He passed the "vibe check" in person. It might just be my haphazard demeanour, but none of the players seemed thrilled at my presence, except him. He was on cloud 9.

I was going to ask him about the crystals but I forgot.

Maybe they are showcasing Greig. If there is no market for Norris, Greig is one of the few moveable pieces they have that might have value.

I'd really like to see Pinto move up in the short term over Grieg. Neither has been good, but the offensive potential is higher with Pinto and maybe can keep up with Stu.
Its more about getting him going to me.. Greig has had a good stint in the top 6 an imo he plays better down the lineup

For sure, I was thinking that too. Seems like it's definitely worth a shot given their options and his current play.

Is the bolded a typo? Can't say I think he's been very good up there for the most part.
