Anyone want to summarize for those of us without a subscription?

Leetch sees the similarities between his game and Fox's, mostly in his vision and the speed at which he processes his options. Leetch said that Fox sees opportunities at ice level as quickly as he sees them from a bird's eye view (especially when he's actually in the arena).

He said that he doesn't watch his old games, so he doesn't really know how he looked on the ice, but he likes to think that he looked similar to Fox. Also, Fox isn't as "reckless" as he was at first. Says he was given a long leash and later reigned himself in.

Overall, he's very impressed.

I'd recommend subscribing, if you can. It's only $1 a month at the moment.

What really excites me his his potential longevity.

His brain is his greatest asset. His hands, vision, skating, etc, which are all great in their own right, pale in comparison to his IQ. The reason he can go out there and continue to play the minutes he has and not wear down is because he isn’t taking a beating out there.

It’s the reason a lot of the league’s best defenseman could go out there and play top pairing minutes until their late 30s. Conversely a guy like McDonagh, while still a good defenseman, had a short prime because he took a beating out there on a nightly basis.

I don't think Fox plays anything like Leetch. Leetch was much more explosive speed wise.

But, Fox(if we are projecting)is better defensively than Leetch.

I think Fox plays more like Lidstrom in that era.

That goal....oh my...
