He doesnt have trade protection.

Why? Rangers need to get heavier. McAvoy plays a more physical brand of hockey and zac jones can qb the pp.
Did you even read the message you responded to? Fox forced himself to the Rangers. He literally refused to play for 2 any other team. Why would that be different now?

Need to get heavier? Miller, Trouba, and Schneider are all quite big and physical players already. Their issue is the team can't play defense and relies entirely on Shesterkin to bail them out

Fox has a contract. He is signed for four more seasons after this season. Different situations.

Lol isn't your team trying to get rid of trouba hard? Fox is a better defense man of all the people that need to be gone from New York he ain't one of them .

You sure? This isn't to put down Jones who has good offensive instincts but in 87 regular season NHL games he has 0 power play goals and 2 power play assists. The second of those came the other night with Kakko scoring late on kind of a broken play. There really isn't much evidence so far in his career to say that Jones could run a first unit power play.

Jones gets basically zero pp time because fox plays typically the first 1:30 of it and then jones comes on for the final 30 seconds and they set up for about 10 seconds of offensive zone time.
