Adam Engstrom will take another step when he starts consistemtly making the right decisions.
His play also gets sloppy at times for no reason he's got to cut out those unforced errors.
As far as his individual skills go we've seen it on display more tham once.

We have lots of time to let him refine his game in Laval.

Sorry but he is not close. He isn't strong enough and makes too many mistakes. He has elite skating but he needs strength and more improvement on the D side.
He is a player I would keep to replace some LD like Struble and Matheson in a year or two
