Klimovich turning into something, even at the AHL level, is a great story. Based on last year i thought he was cooked as a prospect. Collect a paycheck for another year and head back home. Whether he's now a legit nhl prospedt at this point i don't care, just happy to see him finding his way in Abby.

Best thing about this Abby Canucks team is that as of today, they're solidly in a playoff spot in the Pacific, with a batch of 20-21 year-olds carrying the mail.

Mueller, Klimovoch, Pettersson, Kudryavtsev and Lekkerimaki are the core of this team. A lot of the AHL veterans the signed in the off-season really aren't doing a thing. Hopefully they come out of their funk as the year progresses.

But any time you're winning and your youngest prospects are getting tons of ice time in all situations--well that's about as good as it gets in the AHL.

After the season he had last year, if he can even build up his value to be that of a guy who is added in as a small piece in a larger trade, I’d consider that a win.

Kind of a (far) lesser version of Anthony Beauvillier being sold to the fans and media as ‘…we got a former 1st round pick in the deal’ type of ‘asset’.
