Malhotra has put together a line of Sammy Blais, centered by Raty, with newly acquired Jujhar Khaira on the right side.

That line dominated in last game against Bakersfield. It's the kind of veteran line that do a lot of damage in the upcoming AHL playoffs.

From the sounds of things, it was an entertaining night at the Abby Entertainment Center. Baby Canucks squeezed out a 5-4 win over the Calgary Wranglers in the shoot-out.

Raty voted the first star with two more goals. He might be ready for another audition in Vancouver--depending on how long Chytil is out. They really don't have anyone else.

Canucks squeak out a 1-0 win against Calgary to pull into a tie with them in terms of points in the standings. Tolopilo the first star with a 30-save shutout.....and Linus Karlsson with the only gol in the second period.

Looks like this Abbotsford Canuck team has all the elements going right now. A stout blueline; solid goaltending and three lines that can put pressure on the other team. They'll be an interesting team to watch heading into the playoffs.

The Pacific Division is really wide open. Doesn't appear to any one dominant team.

Assuming that Aman, Mancini, Lekkerimaki and Silovs eventually make their way back to Abbotsford, this team could be really 'stacked' entering the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Skill and depth everywhere. More importantly, a lot of veteran players both up-front and on the blueline. And in goal, in all likelihood both Silovs and Tolpilo.

In the Calder Cup playoffs it's often the teams stacked with veteran players who go on the longest run. And with guys like Blais, Khaira, Di Giuseppe and Stevens up front; and blueliners like Brisebois, Wolanin, McWard and Woo, there's a lot of AHL experience to draw on.

You'd have to be optimistic about the Abby Canucks chances to getting out of the Pacific Division, at the very least. And from what I can see, the Central Division isn't all that strong in the next round.

Is Raty waivers exempt next season? I believe he is, but I'm not fully confident how to read Puckpoedia's waiver page. Does the 3 of 4 seasons indicate he has completed 3 seasons and now he is in his 4th and final season of exemption?

Exempt Center 19 36/160 3/4

This is Raty's final season of waiver exemption.
