He should be sat out occasionally for Felton to get into the lineup. Kudryavtsev has been carrying Woo's a$$ in a couple of games recently.

Tolopilo was the difference in this one, as Bakersfield had almost a 2-1 shot advantage.

He looks so calm and composed in the net and when he comes out to close down the shooting angles he's almost unbeatable.

I haven't a clue how the Canucks rank their goaltending prospects, but does Tolopilo have a shot in Vancouver? He had a strong AHL season last year, and seems to building on it this year.

He looks that way for stretches (from the reports I read, at least), and then he turns in a clunker or two, which is why his save % is .892. My guess is that he'll need to show more consistency before he gets a shot.

Really, Kudry close to being the best dman when you factor in PP efforts.

Said it before, but Aman looks so good at this level. But then looks ordinary or fringe at the NHL level.

Agree Tolopilo a star in this game.

Smith, especially, and the other vets continue to do next to nothing. If DiGuiseppe, Blais or Karlsson ever return some of these players should be shipped out to the ECHL.

He is so hit and miss. Good game - poor game. Little like Silovs.

Tends to get rattled if he lets in a couple of goals.

After putting up only 2 assists in his first 10 games, Ty Mueller is quietly appearing to look more comfortable as a pro with 4 goals in his last 9 games…

A good skater and not another one of those kid that’s totally lost defensively…I wonder if he can turn himself into a depth option as early as next season.

He does turn 22 in a couple of months though.

Kudryavtsev is such a smart player... it seems he excels at every level, and the coaches always seem to trust him. He's having a very solid year, and he's been Arby's best defenseman.

He's an interesting prospect to keep track of. Defensemen with high IQ, who can skate, and handle the puck, have a pretty good success rate of becoming NHL'ers.

i loved mueller's game in college and while i haven't watched him much at all in abby this year i feel strongly that if he can get his puck skills to the point where he isn't a liability he has a real shot to be one of those guys who sticks on the bottom on nhl rosters for 15 years because he plays such a consistent detail oriented game

i think he'll have a solid nhl career but i am a little worried the size bias in vancouver will keep him out of the lineup in favor of guys like pettersson and forbort

He's kind of built like a tank though isn't he? more Orlov than Brannstrom....

Yes. 5' 11", 201 lbs, according to Elite Prospects. I still think his height would be a problem for Tocchet.

only if he can't handle the bigger guys down low when they cycle. Reach is great to a point, but holy cow the number of times our giants lose pucks in their own feet.....

Looks like he's kind of the same size as Hronek who seems to make it work.

Anyone have a feel for his TOI? Any abby defenders playing more than him?
