With Fargo down 1-0 in a best of 3 series, and down 4-3 late in the third period, Huglen ties it up and then gets the primary helper on the game winner in OT.

First video, haven't seen any footage of him before, but someone mentioned he plays a lot like Skinner.: I immediately zoom in on the guy in the middle of the ice, and i was right :)

I don’t know, he’s seems to have an ability to pass...
I'm not going that far, not at all. I just think it was funny how my mind worked in that situation.
This shouldn't be a comparison, but if it is, who says he couldn't end up the 'better' Skinner?

the comment was more of a tongue in cheek comment than anything to be taken seriously

Even pretending his injury never happened and this was his D+1 year, isn't .9 ppg in the USHL pretty underwhelming?

You have to keep in mind what his draft year was (1/2 High school and 1/2 USHL)

Draft year USHL 28gms 4g (.14gpg) 10a (.36apg) 14pts (.5ppg).

This year USHL 39gms 15g (.38gpg) 20a (.51apg) 35pts (.9ppg)

If this was his “true” D+1 season that would be pretty nice growth/development from him. Now factor in that he hadn’t played in a game for over 20 months before this season. It was a pretty strong comeback year for him.

Next step is to see what happens as he jumps up a level in Minny. He’s definitely a longer term project.
