Sarcasm is fashionable these days, but this is actually incorrect. First of all, a scandal of widespread steroid usage ultimately increases a sport's visibility. More importantly, the system exists to ensure that cooperative business partners enjoy a wide market to the exclusion of all others. That means publicizing and popularizing instances whereby uncooperative businesses receive business from anyone who is part of NHL.They caught someone?!?!?!? And I thought the entire point of the system was to prevent this from happening.
Someone at the NHL clearly needs to be fired for actually letting them catch someone. Shameful.
NHL wants to highlight these violations, not the other way around.
