Right. They were on the downswing after the Panthers dispacthed them in 5 last season. Then they went out and reshaped their roster in the offseason. Let Stamkos walk, brought back McDonagh, signed Guentzel, etc. They are back to being a top tier team. It's questionable how big of a window they have, but they absolutely re-opened their cup window.

cool. That's a small sample and the series ended in 5. This is a better tampa team than the Panthers saw last year. It's a pretty evenly matched series, especially with the Ekblad suspension and Tkachuk likely being nowhere near 100%
