He has witnessed embarassing collapse after embarassing collapse. A 3-0 Sens comeback might push him over the edge. I don't know how Leafs fans cope, and I'm a Sharks fan. We. At least, reached a Cup Final in 2016.

I am just that emotionally invested. I will be disappointed if the Leafs lose I will say "Damn Leafs!" then I will go to bed (unless there is a later game) wake up the next day and life goes on. That is how I cope.

Game 7 pressure aside, I feel like Game 6 is must-win for the Leafs just for rest. Florida already just dusted off Tampa and is resting now. Toronto going into a physical series with Florida right after a 7 game one probably isn’t the best spot to be in.

The irony is that a lot of people thought the Tampa-Florida series was the one that was going to be long and grueling, possibly hurting even the winner.

If anything, I think it's more the mental rest than physical. If they lose tomorrow, it's yet another year where they're doubting themselves, the fanbase is up in arms and the media won't stop asking (and reminding) them about their abysmal record.

Add to it the possibility of making history in the worst way imaginable and that's a lot to think about before 2-3 days later going to war with Florida.

They absolutely need to close this out tomorrow, ideally in convincing fashion. A lot of that doubt disappears if they come out and absolutely blow Ottawa away. Can they? I mean, the talent is there. It always has been. Will it show up though? And it isn't as if Ottawa is a pushover as they're showing.

Yeah of course! What kind of guy do you think I am? I’ve factored in everything.

Toronto hasn’t needed/wanted to play their best this series while Ottawa has played for their lives. They’re just different tiers of teams and that’s okay.

The man produces a pretty articulate video review, usually 20mins or so, following every single Leafs game and he's done this religiously for the past, what, fifteen years, never missing a game?

I think it's incredibly impressive and while not a Leafer myself I do get a kick out the passion that Dangle pours into his career.

I also get a kick out of the fact that he's fully aware that his most viral vids (Zamboni goalie being at the top, I think), are always following Leafs losses.
