Funnily enough, one of those 25 teams was the Sens in 2015 against the Habs. The Habs won the first 3, then the Sens won 2, then lost game 6 at home.

Sens fan know very well that they are still unlikely to win the series.

We're in the twilight zone where both fanbases think they are going to lose the series.
Being a leafs fan is knowing you will lose this series to Ottawa while also acknowledging we have already lost to Florida next round (who we were somehow more certain about Florida winning than Toronto even when we were up 3-0 in the series)

Yeah when you watch that play over, there is no world where a one handed Ullmark pushing Marner is going to throw him to the ice. Marner, as well as many other Leaf players, were trying to sell calls all game long as it seems to be the only way they can consistently score.

The best part is they were doing it so much that eventually the crowd was booing the refs for every single hit against lol. "You're not allowed to touch us while we try to score!!!"

Lol I also noticed leaf fans booing the strangest things that clearly weren't penalties.

I may be a leaf fan, but I am not delusional. I call it how it is.

There is a lot for leaf fans to question, but at some point I think all the questions will have been answered.

That’s going to happen in two games or less for me

Agree with others that Ottawa will start to feel pressure on Thursday in Game 6. It's no longer "house money". You win that game and we see a Saturday night winner takes all. They need to keep out of the box to have any shot. That TO powerplay is filthy, and Ottawa plays a PK that allows them to move the puck easily.

Zub, Kleven, and Sanderson have played great and are anchoring down the D for Ottawa. Big fan of Nylander among the big 4. Been impressed with Pontus Holmberg too for whatever reason. Guy battles.

So far the team that wins the faceoffs battle + special teams battle, has won pretty much every game

Last game

Matthews loses defensive zone draw, seconds later goal
Matthews turns it over on the PP, SHG

That's the game

Game 4

Leafs allow a PPG + a SHG
Leafs fail to score on a 4 minute PP in OT

Do a better job on the faceoffs and start f***ing competing on the special teams again, way too complacent

SN is so upset
love it

I genuinely don't see this at all. Since it went 3-0 they've talked exclusively about the good things Ottawa has done, why they 'could have been up 2-1 if the OTs went differently', and what they can do to win the series. The only leaf storyline is the "pressure mounting on TO" dialogue, and there is literally nothing positive about the Leafs.

I'm a Hab fan and we might get eliminated tonight but my God, how do Leaf fans continue to put up with this year after year? The big 4 haven't proven anything and continue to look exactly the same.

Most leaf fans didn’t expect a sweep. Most leaf fans expected a 6 game series

Weird. All they did was talk about how Toronto was outshooting Ottawa and how dangerous their pp is and how Toronto is dominating Ottawa after the first period yesterday....yes Toronto had more shots, but they were all mostly perimeter routine saves by ullmark. Not once did the Leafs almost score. Yet on THREE seperate occasions, Ottawa had the puck on the goal line or free in the crease inches from the line behind stolarz.

So instead of going "Ottawa almost scored 3 times and can be up 3-0 and the Leafs rate playing soft perimeter play" it was all :eek::eek::eek:ing about the Leafs powerplay and their "superior" perimeter play.
