Tucker played with a separated shoulder after the Alfredsson hit. Sundin played with a fractured ankle the same playoffs. Neither guy made any excuses and no one made any excuses for them. You need to be a warrior for NHL playoff hockey. I don't want excuses, I want wins.
Yep. There comes a time where you have shit or get off the pot. Let your balls drop and just win.

Hot goalie at the other end? Holding them to four shots in the first period? A goalpost away from a sweep Saturday night? Who gives a shit?

This team has no excuses left to give.

Jokes apart, there have been 211 series where one team was up 3-0. The teams up 3-0 are 207-4. Statistically, the Leafs are pretty much guaranteed to win this series. Relax, Leafs fans, you’ll make it.
Good reality check. Unless there's something else going on with Toronto, they remain the better team with the better odds. I hate both these teams, but let's be honest – people started chirping Toronto after Ottawa won one game, as if anything other than a sweep meant the Leafs were choking. There's been no choke; all we've seen so far is a series.

But it's now 3 games to 2, you can't go back to 3 -0 and that record. Now it's how many teams have come back from down 3 - 2. I'm sure the odds are a little different not to mention the momentum has shifted. It's anyone's series now with a slight advantage to Toronto.
It was anyone's series even when it was 3-0. Don't get me wrong – I'm not disagreeing with your point, just noting that Toronto didn't get to keep momentum after having it for three games, just like Ottawa doesn't get to keep momentum now that they've had it for two games. Momentum has a nasty habit of switching sides very quickly. Winning the last two games was a good accomplishment for Ottawa, but continuing on to win another two games remains unlikely.

Stolarz or the Leafs defence are perfectly fine, Ottawa hasn’t had a lot of extended offensive zone time and haven’t managed to get that many shots on goal. Maybe it’s the Leafs defending well or the Sens with not that much fire power and likely a combination of both but the Sens haven’t been playing like they showed they could during the season.

But with a lot more fire power up front, the Leafs offense are really the ones dropping the ball here, especially after being up 3-0 and now dropping 2 in a row…

-Matthews was horrible last night. It's been widely speculated he's been playing through an injury all year (went to see a specialist in Germany in November). But last night he was f***ing terrible.

-Nylander was also awful last night. One of his worst games of the year.

-Knies and Tavares were fine. Not great, but OK. Tanev was a rockstar, and Laughton played a strong game.

-Marner? Not as bad as AM and WN, but still a pretty shitty night.

I know the Sens went into full lockdown mode once they got the lead but, given this team's history at closing out series, it was a trash effort on home ice.

Credit where credit is due. Chucky backed up his words, Ullmark was fantastic and the Sens played the perfect road game. Back to Ottawa we go.

The Sens are not 0-3 anymore, that statistic is completely irrelevant now. What you want are the probabilities of a 2-3 team to win a series.

I've seen many people use that on social media, do you guys even middle school math?
Technically what you want is “of all the teams that were down 3-0, what % won the series after winning the next 2 games to make it 3-2. Im too lazy, but would be interesting to see someone pull that stat up.

Y'all wonder why Leaf fans are obnoxious. Every time they lose a game HF celebrates like they won a cup. Annoying
Oh boy. You've been saying how there sens are terrible and it was going to be over in 4 or 5. Zero self awareness. Pot kettle. Leafs aren't gonna blow a 3-0 lead but your gas lighting cockyness and arrogance in every thread that has gone unchecked around here and now you come back with this.

Imo the newly formed D has the toughness to play through what playoff hockey does to the body. Some of the forwards have question marks.
