Just ordered a medium 'Texas style' pizza with steak, peppers, onions, and a bbq sauce base - paired with a 6er of Molson Dry. Let's have at 'er leafers, main show starts now.

Ullmark and Ottawa always play their best hockey when they expect to lose. All those seasons when they're the hottest team in the league when they're out of the playoffs - it's their thing. The same will happen when they start to feel the pressure to win in Game 6 and especially Game 7.
And the Leafs play their worst hockey when they're expected to clinch a series. Guess we'll see two shit teams? This narrative is silly
I am telling you right now, this series is over. Toronto has lost.
The Leafs are also the hottest team in the league when they're not playing in the playoffs. And they always play their best hockey when it doesn't matter.
Ottawa is winning the series. Book it.
I said it from the start. Leaf fans had the most unwarranted arrogance coming into this series acting like they're this big juggernaut, and that winning this series was a formality. Non stop shit talking from leafs fans on the main boards. Where are they now?I don't understand why they were so arrogant considering their history.
Ottawa is still somehow down in the series to them though.
The Leafs D is dragging them kicking and screaming. They'll likely still win and go to the 2nd round. The powerplay and lack of offense from star Toronto players, when the margins narrow, is undoing us yet again. I think Toronto is going to need some timely puck luck at this point if they want to move on. I expect the offensive struggles would be even worse in the second round, though.
Matthews was terrible tonight. Not just "top paid center" terrible. He should have been benched.
But you think 97pts is lowly? it's only one point behind Florida who had 98The fact that the Leafs, who should be well into a dynasty by now, are slightly ahead in a series against a lowly, inexperienced wildcard team, brings you solace... Well, that's just sad bro.
I don't even have a come back. Only sympathy.

The narrative changes post to post.
On one hand the Leafs are chokers. On the other hand, the Leafs are a dynasty.
Is Ottawa losing to a dynasty or chokers? Make up your mind.
No, I don’t see it. I think the Leafs won’t score another goal this series.Nah. As a fan of a team that came back from 0-3 deficit not even a year ago (and still lost) the chances are incredibly in the Leafs favour. If there’s a game 7 and the Leafs win it you won’t even care that the Sens tied the series.
I can see this going like Habs vs Sens in 2015, with the Habs on the verge of sweeping the Sens and the Sens pushing it to 6.
No one is calling them a dynasty.
So they're losing to chokers?
Is losing to a team that everyone else beats supposed to be some kind of moral victory?
