The last time the Rangers have a PMD from the left and right side who came together on the PP was when they had Zubov and Leetch. That year, you didn't want to face the Rangers PP because there was a 23% chance it was going into the back of the net as they lead the league with 96PP goals on their way to winning the Stanley Cup.

A LHD-RHD combo on the PP where both can really move and shoot the puck, is deadly!

it will be exciting, although my enthusiasm is a bit tempered. Zubov had a very quick release, both slap shot and wrist shot. Leetch had an uncanny ability to deke and go in deep. Both were great at keeping the puck in the zone. And after them, there was Mess down low and Graves in font. The combo will hopefully improve from last season; hopefully there will be other changes to get it from the middle-of-the-pack to a top 10 PP.

So if Boyle is one of the shooters on the 1st PP unit, who runs the PP? Richards did it last year and was mostly effective during the regular season (as frustrating as it was, the Rangers were middle of the pack). Who takes over controlling and directing the PP? McDonagh? Stepan? MSL?
