Really? Thats pretty good value. Like I say overall I feel a stronger player like this with some puck skills adds more to the lineup. This seems like the quiet move a cash strapped team should be making. Not paying injured Arvid 4M a year X2. Yikes. I'd rather have Kapanen.

As long as you are not hoping he will score or play well in his own zone? You will love him. He is a very frustrating player

Wonder how things are going to play out when guys come back from injury.

Would have to imagine J. Skinner is outbound at the deadline as cap space in a deal. Might even be earlier depending on when Kane gets back.

Derek Ryan and Caggiula are easy to cut.
Down to Perry vs Kapanen when Kane is ready to return. Podkolzin can also be sat for a few games ..

Not sure how he suddenly has the tag of not being able to score in this league.

Dude had 1 bad year, the seven years prior to that he scored at a double digit goal rate primarily from the bottom 6 every year.

He has a full NMC, so I'm not sure he's going anywhere.

No it is not just ONE bad year. His good years he rode shotgun with very good players. But when he moved down to the 3rd and 4th line? HE became invisible. He has also had injury problems as well

Bouchard playing his fewest minutes of the season... comes up with a goal, an assist and a +3.

I think a little credit is due for Knob finally spreading the defensive minutes around a little more evenly and that likely led to better results in this game.
having a huge lead is probably a big reason for that.

Think they will pause cap accrual for a couple of days as we come back with a hard back to back (Colorado/Vegas).

It's worth seeing what Kapanen's got.

Uh no, I count 7 years of double digit scoring pace.

He had a bad year in St. Louis last year, when he first got to St. Louis he scored 8 goals in like 23 games.
