Honestly nothing really to complain about with this game. They started perimeter but rally started attacking the slot after

I guess even if you are up by five mentally concentrate and don't try making cute passes like that nurse backhand attempt. Keep it simple

Janmark was great on the PK (again). It was like last playoffs where he attacked the PP and made them a liability if they bobbled the puck at all.

Just a great effort from top to bottom really. Much better defensive structure overall with Nurse back in the lineup, Podz gets a much deserved goal (so nice to see him get rewarded for his overall good play). McDrai were solid and Stu with a nice solid game . Nice to see a one sided score against a pretty decent team. Now we rest up for a bit, hopefully come back at full strength and continue on with this level of play.

Team looked really fast today, so for people who like to harp on that forever, they can play that way too it looks to me.

Don't mind Kapanen, I mean I'm not expecting the moon here, but yeah his speed is noticeable.

Caggiula seems like such a pest, I don't mind him, liked him in his first stint here too.

The familiar pattern.

Some games with very uninspired and sloppy play-- then a barrage of criticism from fans and media--and then a very strong game against a strong team. They can play with anybody when they are properly motivated.

The question is why self motivation isn't more apparent but that's the nature of this team.

Anyway, nice game before the break--well done all around and yes, Stu too.
