I am a Montreal fan now just for Laine. I'm still in love with the man and his beautiful shot. Glad he is figuring it out in a Canadian market that is where he belongs. 50 goals next year no problem.

He's really a fantastic talent. It's been strange having a player that could have legitimately been first OA in some years. And Columbus just gave him away.

I'll take Thompson first. Cozens is an absolute dog but has no hockey IQ and is likely a winger. Yeah he's an upgrade on some players we got, but I can't see him overtaking CC/Slaf/Demidov/Laine. Thompson on the other hand looks like someone who's checked out with the Sabres which is a common theme.
