You mean that the world isn't going on hold while this all important tournament plays out? I thought all the player who weren't there along with every team's front office/management were put in a stasis field for the next couple of weeks where time will just stop for them.

Huh, will wonders never cease.

He was talking about him and then mentioned this anonymous player, so potentially.

On him Freidman says he thinks the asking price is a 2nd, which seems easy enough to pay.
Got to think if the price is a 2nd any team looking for a 3C would pay that in a heart beat. I think Montreal should wait until Middlestat or Scheen are moved see if they can squeeze out more.

if norris and/or pinto are injured for long term ottawa probably makes a move. Going to be interesting as to how aggressive they can get since they still have the penalty because of dorion

My sources are saying two things

1) a player MAY be moved during the 4 nations tournament.

2) a player may NOT be moved during the 4 nations tournament.

Stay tuned.

"I can say with 100% certainty, that said player is definitely either getting traded; or won't be traded."

To further add to this and it might and probably does warrant another thread, but the blues are listening on everyone and if there's a deal they like, they could make it, but aren't going to trade away the team.

I'm pretty confident that the Blues either will, or will not, make a trade in the next couple of weeks. At least that's what my sources are telling me.

Trades during the the 4 nations, for players not at the tournament, make complete sense. If you're going to acquire a guy and get them to move all their family and possessions to a completely different place, having a week or two longer than normal is the perfect time to do it.

It gives those players a chance to settle in and meet some of the staff and other players.

Or, you know, arrive at all. *glares in the general direction of the idiots at USCIS who kept Kuzmenko and Pelletier off the ice for a week*

To further add this guy said this to Friedman, but isn't playing in the tournament.

Starts about the 24 minute mark of the latest 32 thoughts.

Edit:he added that Montreal will be looking to make a hockey trade as well as selling.
EF also said that player's team finished up at home before the break. Players not playing in the 4 nations come back on the 18th.

A guy in a contract year and a team that finished at home and are likely sellers, Flyers, Preds, and Blues finished at home, Chicago and Isles didn't
