Then, in games not involving Detroit, it usually falls to players I like.

I liked Nashville because Pekka Rinne
Colorado because of Gabe Landeskog
Tampa because of Vasilevskiy and Stamkos
Rangers because of Lundqvist and Raanta
Montreal because of Carey Price

But I will 100% root against in all situations

I'm getting there with Vegas because teams have gotten this weird affinity with seemingly giving them whatever players they need and with bending the rules to fit them in the cap. At least when Tampa was doing it, they were having to dump all kinds of futures. Vegas just never seems like they're ever going to have to pay the piper for "going for it"

I'm indifferent to most other NHL teams except Chicago and Toronto....I despise those chuds.

Smartbar in Chicago is my all time favorite, Flash in DC is nice because you can head up to the roof patio to smoke a cigarette when you need a break from the main stage. Tresor in Berlin has treated me very well.

As far as hockey clubs go Red Wings are the best, Blackhawks are the worst, most medium is… Calgary? I don’t have any particularly strong feelings about Calgary.

I can find reasons to root for a lot of teams in the playoffs based on their players or situations from watching them throughout the year but I really only "like" the Wings. It's more of a positive indifference than liking them.
