Largely overlooked traits in Danielson - for a 19 year old, he's a strong ass player with excellent balance. With that, he also leverages his ability to gain body positioning on virtually any player, and wins a great amount of battles and turnovers because of it. Couple in his first steps/speed/edges, and I think he's really a coaches dream.
Not to mention, his zone entries are deadly when you factor in how he distributes the puck off to a winger and will open up the lane right down the middle and take away sticks.
He's been dominating these playoffs in a way that special players do on their own. Moose Jaw has Savoie, Mateychuk, Yager, and Firkus, all of which are highly revered NHL prospects and three of which are top 15 drafted. Danielson is not surrounded by such a supporting cast, but he's still doing it all 200 ft up and down the ice. He's special man!
